[32:50] At a Council held at the Council Chamber in Boston in the Province of the Massachusetts Bay the 24th July 1750.
It appearing that there is an Indian Prisoner still remaining in this Province, vizt. a Girl taken by Colo. John Gorham, and now living at his house in Boston; the Board thereupon taking into consideration his Majestys order to his Honour the Lieutenant Governour for causing such Indians allied to or protected by the majties Christian King as may be retained in this Government as Prisoners of War to be restored to the French Governor Srg.
Advised that his Honour give Orders that the said Indian Girl be forthwith sent to Governour Cornwallis within whose Government she was taken for her being restored agreable to the said order; And that the Commissary General take Care to provide a Passage for her to Halifax accordingly.
